We have a limited number of tubs for hire, and a limited ability to supply hot water. If you require a tub ready to use at a specific time, then place your order as soon as you can.
With the self-service pack you can put it on any strong flat surface anywhere that you can reach with your own hose. The other packs require that a hose must be run from our mobile tank, so about 10 meters from vehicle access is the limit.
The tub is made of Poly Band, a tough and highly insulated foam. A base of insulation baords and an insulated lid allow the small motor to hold water at 38°C even in the coldest weather. There will be a gradual heat loss while the lid is off. The water reheats at about 1°C per hour when the lid is in place.
Normally about 15 mins, but up to 30 mins should be no problem to a healthy adult. If you start to feel a bit odd or light-headed, it is time to get out. Dehydration after exercise can cause light-headedness. By all means enjoy a drink in the tub, but too much alcohol is definitely not a good idea.
Softub have designed a very simple and safe system. The cable from the tub has a special trip in it to prevent any power surge. Any extension cable we might use will be earthed. If your electric system does not have a modern earth trip, then we add one to our extension. The power is automatically cut off instantly there is a short in the system. Keep all other cables, electrical and metal objects away from the tub.
The water in your tub is from the mains. It is exactly as if you were having a bath at home. Mains water is treated before it gets to your tap, so for short term hire there is no need to filter the water or add chemicals.
That is up to you. If users take a shower before using the tub, and rinse off all soap, cosmetics and natural body oils, the water will require minimal treatment for many days. Heavy use of the tub will inevitably require some water treatment.
There is a patented ozone unit in the motor housing which prolongs the effectiveness of free chlorine in the water. This means that so little chlorine is required that you usually can't even detect it. About 4 parts per million of chlorine is normal in a Softub.

Just keep an eye on the look of the water, ensure that the level stays 5cm above the jet outlets and keep the cover locked in place when not in use. Never unplug the tub or drain it. Never add anything to the water without checking with us - some additives are damaging to the water quality, the liner, the motor and/or you.
Children can't stay away from a tub. There are no hard surfaces on a softub and the water is totally irresistable. That is why there are no steps into the tub and locks for the cover. Small children need to be properly supervised and protected against their lack of understanding of danger. They will absolutely love it though...
Yes. An adult needs to sign for the delivery and receipt of the paperwork, pay for the hire and oversee positioning of the tub. Collection after the hire period can take place with noone present, assuming access to a building is not required.
A non-refundable deposit of 500kr is required for every booking. Book early to ensure you get a tub on the day you want it. The full balance for the hire period is due at the time of delivery. Any subsequent charges will be invoiced separately.
We offer you the tub you have rented at retail price less the price of the hire. Included will be a 'starter set' of chemicals. You can of course have a new Softub at the normal price.
