The liner can be punctured, causing a leak which will have to be repaired at the customer's expense. It also means that you will not have the use of the tub until it is repaired!
The water is circulated, cleaned and heated by the motor unit. If the Softub were to freeze because the motor had been unplugged, serious damage can occur.

A short term hire will not have a filter fitted, but when there is one, it is attached to an outlet inside the tub. It is possible to rupture the liner, causing a leak, if the filter is maltreated. The filter can be easily removed while the tub is in use - a sensible precaution if children are playing in and around the tub.
We will take responsibility for water treatment. Additives such as soap, shampoo, detergent and oil will destroy the water balance and require the addition of expensive chemicals to clean the water. the customer will be charged for this.
If you pre-booked, then you will have paid a deposit. This non-refundable deposit will be deducted from the full invoice total.
Danger of electrocution if anything falls into the tub.
Small children are attracted to water so close supervision is vital; also wind can blow the cover off if it is not fixed, leading to heat loss and damage.
Research has indicated that hot tubs can adversely affect pregnancy in the early stages.
By all means have fun, but be aware of the dangers.
Seek medical advice if in doubt.
If children want to use it more, then reduce the temperature to around 35°C.
This can be dangerous and also voids the manufacturer's guarantee. Call for service instead.
